A Jacksonville dermatology clinic accused of billing Medicare for cosmetic procedures that were not medically necessary has reached a settlement with federal investigators, the Florida Times-Union reports.

SanjivaGoyal of Coastal Dermatology has been ordered to pay $787,814 to settle the case. According to the Times-Union, the settlement is part of a federal effort to recover the fraudulently paid funds and deter others from participating in similar schemes.
