As often happens in a major IT project, last-minute technical problems have delayed the enrollment launch of two federal shopping sites for health plans, one for Spanish-speakers and one for small businesses, the Associated Press reports. The one for small businesses, called SHOP, is now scheduled for Nov. 1. Enrollment on a Spanish-speakers’ website, CuidadoDeSalud.gov, has been pushed back a few weeks, with no set date. However, the English-language Marketplace for the uninsured that the federal government will be operating in 36 states, including Florida, is still scheduled to begin enrollment Tuesday, Oct. 1, at HealthCare.gov.
