An article published Feb. 3, Prestige Wins Medicaid Contracts, overstated the case in describing the shift of Florida Medicaid from fee-for-service payments to statewide managed care. While the vast majority of Medicaid patients are required to enroll in a managed-care plan or provider network, there are exceptions. These include some children and adults with disabilities.
