Nursing Home Forced to Close

A Tampa nursing home cited many times for failing to provide good care for severely disabled children is closing in about a month, the Miami Herald reports. Lakeshore Villas had learned it would lose its state license and its funds from Medicaid and Medicare payments. According to the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration, which inspects nursing homes, days went by without any activities staff entering the pediatric ward.
