Walgreens has agreed to pay an $80-million fine following an investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration into the company’s dispensing practices, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. The agreement was reached after the DEA banned a Florida distribution center from dispensing controlled substances, including oxycodone. Six Florida Walgreens were targeted in the DEA probe.
