FLORIDA VACCINE SITES: County-by-county locations across the state
Here is a breakdown of how to register:
Hillsborough
Hillsborough County is partnering with the state of Florida to open a new drive-through coronavirus vaccine site.
The site opened Jan. 20 and is located at University Mall, 2200 E. Fowler Ave. It will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The site will administer 1,600 doses of the Pfizer vaccine each day to front-line health care workers and people 65 and older who have pre-registered.
Appointments are required, and individuals are encouraged to bring a government-issued form of ID and health insurance information.

Residents are encouraged to book their vaccine appointments online at patientportalfl.com, and set up an account in advance. Appointments can also be made by calling (850) 848-5287.
On Jan. 10, the Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County announced an additional site through a partnership with St. John's Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Chipco St. in Tampa. According to a news release, 590 people received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Sunday and will return for their second dose on Jan. 31. Vaccines will also be made available Jan. 24 at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church on Franklin Street in Tampa.
The county is expanding its vaccine program and will soon distribute it at local senior communities. The vaccine is available to residents 65 and older at five distribution sites across the county. Starting Jan, 14, vaccines were made available to residents at Kings Manor in Tampa. The goal is to deliver the vaccine directly to senior homes and independent living communities across the county with a significant senior population. County officials say they have identified 350 such locations and they expect the list to grow. But, they anticipate a limited supply of vaccines over the next several weeks.

Pinellas
The county has received a new shipment of 10,000 coronavirus vaccine doses and will reopen appointments on Jan. 29 at 3 p.m. for anyone 65 and older. Appointments are expected to fill quickly. Appointments start early next week.
Appointments are mandatory to get the first of two vaccine injections and can be scheduled online through the Patient Portal online platform.
Officials say residents should check the Pinellas County vaccine website for update on when more appointments will be made available.

Polk
Polk County has activated a COVID-19 vaccine hotline from the Polk County Operations Center. Residents 65 and older can register for a limited number of vaccine appointments starting Jan. 11 by calling 863-298-7500. The hotline will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Once those initial appointments are filled, callers 65 years old and older can be placed on a registration list for a future vaccine appointment, as additional vaccines become available.
On Jan. 14, the county also activated an online portal to take appointments as long as the vaccine is available.

Sarasota
The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County launched a new registration system for the COVID-19 vaccine on Jan. 20. Front-line health-care workers and seniors age 65 and older can register themselves and one additional person using the Everbridge platform. The county will contact eligible recipients to schedule an appointment in order of registration and as the vaccine becomes available. Those who have already received the first dose of the vaccine should not register on Everbridge and should wait for the county to contact them to schedule a second dose.

Manatee
The Department of Health in Manatee County will be offering vaccinations to seniors age 65 and older by appointment only, as supply is available. Registrations are being taken online or by calling 311 on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eligible recipients will be randomly selected from a pool as vaccines become available.

Pasco
The county will hold three coronavirus vaccination clinics, on Jan. 25, Jan. 27 and Jan. 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Saint Leo University, 33701 State Road 52. Residents age 65 and older can schedule an appointment on Jan. 24 starting at 2 p.m. at patientportalfl.com or by calling (844) 770-8548 and creating an account with CDRMaguire. There will be 700 appointments available each day.
A drive-through vaccination clinic also has been set up at Gulf View Square Mall, 9409 U.S. 19 in Port Richey. Vaccines are available by registration only. The county plans to open additional vaccination sites in the coming weeks as it receives more doses.

Hernando
Starting Jan. 22 at 10 a.m., residents 65 and older can schedule appointments for their first dose of the vaccine. The county has received 1,500 total doses to be administered in three 500-dose blocks:
- Jan. 25-29 from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Florida Department of Health in Hernando County, 7551 Forest Oaks Blvd, Spring Hill
- Jan. 26 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Hernando County Fairgrounds, 6436 Broad St., Brooksville
- Jan. 27 from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. at the Hernando County Fairgrounds, 6436 Broad St., Brooksville
Appointments will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, either online at patientportalfl.com or by calling (844) 770-8548.
Limited availability of vaccines is anticipated over the next several weeks.

Veterans
The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital is expanding its coronavirus vaccination efforts in the community.
Veterans who get care from the VA and are aged 75 and older can now schedule appointments to receive the vaccine at the main hospital, its Primary Care Annex in Tampa and outpatient clinics in South Hillsborough and New Port Richey.
Homeless veterans, as well as vets living in VA congregate living areas and patients receiving chemotherapy, hemodialysis or organ transplants are also able to get vaccines at this time.
Appointments are required, as supplies are limited.
