Non-Pros Used Biogenesis, Too

New stories coming out about the anti-aging clinic owned by Tony Bosch include a former minor league baseball player who wanted to lose weight, and chose to use the names of his sons to get doses of human chorionicgonadotropin (hCG), the Miami Herald reports.

Tommy Martinez, 56, says that is how three of his sons -- high school ballplayers in Broward County -- ended up on the Biogenesis client list. In the wake of the scandal, the Miami-Dade School Board has announced plans to test student athletes for steroids, the Herald reports.
