It’s third quarter earnings season, and among the health systems reporting profits are Orlando Health Inc. and Jackson Health System. Orlando Health, which owns and operates eight Central Florida hospitals, made $44.4 million in its third quarter profits, according to the Orlando Business Journal. Jackson Health System, the public health provider for Miami-Dade County, is expected to greatly exceed its goal of $11 million in gains this year, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
