A research team led by University of South Florida Dr. Stephen Liggett has uncovered a strong genetic link with the potential to save millions from fatal heart arrhythmias, according to the Tampa Tribune. The research has the potential to help approximately half of the 5 million in the U.S. diagnosed with heart failure.
