Senate Panel Supports Age Increase For Tobacco, Vaping Purchase

Florida would tighten tobacco and vaping regulations as smoking, chewing tobacco and using electronic cigarettes would be off limits for anyone under age 21, under a bill that started moving forward Tuesday in the Senate. 

The City of Jacksonville and Daily’s are teaming up on a new campaign to educate middle and high school students about the dangers that vaping poses to teenagers.

The Trump administration announced it will crack down on certain vaping products containing fruit, mint and other e-cigarette flavors to keep them away from kids. Manufacturers will have 30 days to take these products off the market before the Food and Drug Administration can take enforcement action.
