I recently relocated to Miami from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when the opportunity of interning at WLRN came up.
Before making the big move, I was collaborating as a reporter for Pulso Estudiantil, a weekly student-run radio program for WRTU 89.7FM at my alma mater, the University of Puerto Rico, and working as a French teacher.
Although I’ve had the opportunity to work and intern across the media spectrum –- from broadcast to digital and print -- there’s always room to learn and grow.
I enjoy reporting environmental and public health stories, and in my free time, getting myself acquainted to South Florida through walks on the beach and finding good places to eat.
