Broward County reported more child-on-child sexual abuse incidents in 2014 than any other county in Florida, the
Broward Palm Beach New Times reports. The Child Protective Investigations Section of the Broward County Sheriff's Office reported 593 cases in 2014. In 2009, 248 cases were reported. The spike is expected to continue this year; 284 cases have already been reported for 2015. Almost all of the cases happened during school hours, according to the New Times. The Broward Crime Commission says it will be studying the issue more closely.
