A Pinellas County woman known for inventing a weight loss wrap is fighting a $1,050 fine for contempt in a Tampa federal courtroom related to a 2012 case where a federal judge ordered her to pay $800,000 to two former franchisees and their family members who sold her product and then claimed they suffered medical problems, The Tampa Tribune reports. Victoria Morton, 79, created body wraps, made by soaking elastic bandages in minerals, according to the Tribune. Morton, who lives in Safety Harbor, was fined for failing to cooperate in response to a subpoena.
