A Jacksonville woman is suing Baptist Health and the former head of its neurology department after being misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis, the Florida Times-Union reports.

Jennifer Prevatt said Dr. Sean Christopher Orr ordered more than a dozen tests, none of which pointed to a MS diagnosis, but diagnosed her anyway, according to the Times-Union. The hospital fired Orr in 2011, but did not tell patients why, the Times-Union reports.

This lawsuit follows a federal whistleblower’s lawsuit last May, where Baptist Health settled with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for $2.5 million, according to the Times-Union. The U.S. Attorney’s Office still has an open case against Orr.
