An oral surgeon who reached a deal with the state Department of Health over allegations of sexual misconduct with three sedated teenage patients has left a group practice and will open a new solo office, the Pensacola News Journal reports. The Florida Board of Dentistry approved the settlement, which calls for Dr. David “Ty” Turbyfill to pay close to $15,000 in fines and always have another health professional present while he’s with patients.
