A Sarasota doctor who who lost his license in 2017 for “improperly diagnosing prostate cancer” was found guilty of continuing to see patients, according to the Sarasota Herald Tribune.
As the Herald Tribune reports, Ronald Wheeler, 71, refused a two-year sentence to plead guilty before his trial. He was found guilty, and faces sentencing and a $50,000 reparation to his victim later this month.
Wheeler was arrested after the Department of Health received an anonymous tip that he was still seeing patients.
