Measles So Rare Doctor Missed It
Measles are so rare that the doctor examining an Orange County 4-year-old did not recognize the disease. The DOH confirms that child and three others kids who live in the same home have the contagious disease. Last year, Florida reported only one measles case.
Four children from one Orange County family have confirmed cases of measles, the Orange County Health Department reported today. Last year only one case of measles was reported in the entire state and none in Central Florida, said Dain Weister, spokesman for the Orange County Health Department.
