Elon Musk didn’t provide any details about the latest patient to get an implant from his brain-computer interface company, but there are updates on the previous ones.

Neuralink’s device is adesigned to be implanted in the skull, with thin wires going into the brain. The initial goal is to give people the ability to control a computer cursor or keyboard using thoughts alone.

Neuralink is one of many groups working on linking the nervous system to computers. Elon Musk previously said one of the first applications in people would to attempt to restore vision.
