Teen Waits for Transplant With External Heart Pump

To hear his dad tell it, Angus Nelson Standridge was always an active child who loved football, wrestling with his younger siblings, and playing on his trampoline.  As the Ocala Star-Banner reports, the 13-year-old is also fearless when talking about the heart pump that keeps him alive while waiting for a transplant.  A virus had attacked his heart.
