U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio has come out in support of the non-euphoric medical marijuana approved by the Florida Legislature, the Miami Herald reports.

In an interview Wednesday, the Republican and possible 2016 Presidential candidate made it clear his support was limited to strains such as “Charlotte’s Web,” and that legalizing or decriminalizing recreational marijuana is not “the right decision for our country,” according to the Herald.

Originally founded in December 2006 as an independent grassroots publication dedicated to coverage of health issues in Florida, Health News Florida was acquired by WUSF Public Media in September 2012.
