Guns are strictly banned at Walt Disney World, but Angelo Lista of Royal Palm says he wasn’t aware of that, the Palm Beach Post reports. Lista, who holds a concealed-weapons permit, brought his .380 Cobra with him in his back pocket, where it fell out during a bumpy ride with his family. It was found minutes later by a woman who was boarding the ride with her grandson, which led to a hue and cry involving police, park officials and embarrassment for Lista -- but no formal charges.

Originally founded in December 2006 as an independent grassroots publication dedicated to coverage of health issues in Florida, Health News Florida was acquired by WUSF Public Media in September 2012.
