Fresh Water Could Harbor Scary Amoeba

As temperatures increase, so does the risk of Naegleria fowleri, a brain-eating amoeba that thrives in warm, fresh water. That's why health departments across Florida are reminding people of the danger of contracting the deadly amoeba and the precautions to take.
