Family Sickened by LSD-Tainted Meat

Police continue to investigate why a pregnant Tampa woman and her family were sickened and hospitalized after eating steak laced with LSD.

The family started started hallucinating, and experiencing dizziness and rapid heart beats after  eating the meat purchased at a nearby Wal-Mart, according to The Tampa Tribune.

Jessica Rosado, who was nine months pregnant, took her family to St. Joseph’s Hospital. Doctors there induced labor and Rosado, 31, safely delivered a baby boy. Her boyfriend, Ronnie Morales, and her two daughters, ages 7 and 6, were treated and hospitalized. All were released by late last week.

Wal-Mart is cooperating during the investigation and removed all meat from the store in question.
