Those of you who subscribe to our free e-Alerts may have noticed that we no longer send them every day.
That's because the quantity and quality of news reporting on health issues around the state has diminished to the point that some days it isn't worth it. We value your time, and don't want to clutter your inbox with trivia.
On those days, we simply update the home page with whatever stories are worth a link.
On Mondays, we always compile an e-Alert, since much of the best reporting in the state appears on weekends. Apart from Mondays, we can't predict which days there will be enough of importance to warrant one. We try to send out three a week, minimum two.
(If you're not getting our free e-Alerts, a headline round-up that saves you time, you can sign up. Click on the big green e at the top right-hand corner of the home page.)
