Mary Frederick, the first advertising and marketing manager we've had at Health News Florida, will soon be moving to a new job with a much larger company. We'll miss her always-cheerful voice and super organizational skills.
In looking for a successor, we want someone whose strength is sales, since we need to build income from sources other than grants. Part of the job will be looking for new sources of revenue, such as negotiating news-distribution opportunities.
We're looking for someone who is strong in:
- Sales, preferably in a media environment.
- Organizational skills, including follow-up.
- Communications, both written and oral.

Ability to work independently.
Applicants can be anywhere in Florida and will work from home. The pay will be a combination of salary and commission.
