The governor's office has responded to a Politico story that shows a news release involving Planned Parenthood failed to include findings from state health regulators.
Gov. Rick Scott's office said in an email to Politico that it often works on draft documents from departments such as the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
The statement, however, did not directly say why it removed from the document a finding that it found "no evidence of the mishandling of human remains" at the 16 Planned Parenthood clinics state regulators inspected.
