A doctor and a registered nurse are suing a University of Miami organ bank supervisor who they say assaulted them at a meeting two years ago in front of dozens of other employees, the Miami Herald reports.
A Miami-Dade Circuit judge today will consider the lawsuits that accuse the vice chair of administration for the surgery department of physically striking the women, who worked at the Miami Transplant Institute. The former employees also say the university didn’t do anything to address their complaints, according to the Herald.
