Dr. GunwantDhaliwal -- the Pasco County doctor suspended by the Florida Board of Medicine in 2013 over allegations of groping a female assistant -- has been found not guilty by a criminal trial jury, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The judgment comes about six-and-a-half years  after the employee accused him of illegally touching her. It’s one of several instances where Dhaliwal has been accused of groping women at his medical clinic, the Times reports.

In a separate case, a Port Orange doctor awaits trial for leading a pill mill, as prosecutors have cut deals with some of the employees who conspired with him, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reports. Authorities say Dr. AtaurRahman would trade pain-pill prescriptions for cash and sex with female patients; his employees are accused of recruiting patients and helping traffick the pills.

And in yet another case, a Walgreens pharmacy technician in Ocala has admitted to stealing thousands of hydrocodone pills at work and selling them, the Ocala Star-Banner reports.
