3 Doctors Guilty in Accident Scheme

This week, a federal jury found three chiropractors guilty of money- laundering and mail fraud for their part in a scheme involving fake car accidents, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
 
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida said the three filed claims on behalf of the “victims” and cashed insurance checks for procedures they never performed.
 
They were identified as Kenneth Karow of West Palm Beach; Hermann J. Diehl of Miami; and Hal Mark Kreitman of Miami Beach. Joel Antonio Simon Ramirez was found guilty of  helping to stage the accidents, the Sun Sentinel reported.
