Doctors and pharmacists accused of running one of the nation’s largest steroid supply rings are on trial in federal court, the Palm Beach Post reports.
Prosecutors say the Jensen Beach store run by pharmacist Peter Del Toro was the center of the operation, providing performance-enhancing drugs to patients searching for “the fountain of youth.” Others who were involved in the operation, which supplied anabolic steroids and human growth hormone, are expected to testify for the prosecution, the Post reports.
Meanwhile, a dentist has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for killing two people while driving drunk in 2010, the Tampa Tribune reports. Matthew Moye pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter.
