The National Football League won’t have to admit any wrongdoing in a settlement with the more than 4,500 players who sued the league for downplaying the dangers of concussions they sustained while playing professional football, the Palm Beach Post reports. As the Tampa Tribune reports, the NFL has agreed to pay $765 million in compensation and diagnostic fees to retired players, including some from Florida. The Post reports that 45 former Miami Dolphins players were among the plaintiffs, including one who committed suicide last year.
