Scripps Florida has been awarded a $10.6 million grant from the National Institute on Aging, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports. Scripps scored well in a peer review process to receive the grant. Breakthroughs by Scripps Florida scientists include advancements and research on Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and nicotine addiction.
