The chief assistant in the Broward Public Defender’s office has asked the Department of Children and Families to investigate a psychiatric treatment center for emotionally damaged teen girls in Pembroke Pines, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Gordon H. Weekes Jr. accused Citrus Center of Adolescent Treatment Service of over-drugging and restraining the girls. One of the girls told him that the girls misbehaved in order to get “booty-juice” shots to get high.
