Florida Hospital, a multi-hospital system based in Orlando, came out on top in the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital list of rankings for hospitals in the state, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
It bumped last year’s winner, Tampa General, to second place.
Meanwhile, as the Miami Herald reports, Jackson Memorial had the top rankings in South Florida. Nationally, the top spot went to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, followed by Massachusetts General and the Mayo Clinic.
The yearly rankings, based on quality-of-care data and surveys of doctors, were released Tuesday.
