A St. Petersburg couple who lost two sons to a genetic bone disease called Jeune syndrome and expected to lose their third now have brought him home after 8 ½ months at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Originally founded in December 2006 as an independent grassroots publication dedicated to coverage of health issues in Florida, Health News Florida was acquired by WUSF Public Media in September 2012.
