Did Oil Spill Sicken Cleanup Workers?

BP says the amount of oil and dispersant most cleanup workers were exposed to after the Deepwater Horizon spill in 2010 was “safe,” the Tampa Bay Times reports. While a health survey by the National Institutes of Health has found some of the workers are experiencing depression and anxiety, researchers say those may not have anything to do with the oil spill; they say it’s too soon to tell whether they will develop physical problems from cleaning up the spill.
