A lawmaker who wants to get rid of “personal injury protection” insurance in Florida got support from a Leon County judge’s temporary injunction against a key part of last year’s PIP overhaul, the Florida Currentreports. The parts placed on hold are a $2,500 limit on non-emergency care after an auto accident and the 14-day deadline to get treatment.
