Upstart Nova Builds Mystery-Disease Program

Maybe, if you build it, they will come. With that in mind, as South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports, Nova Southeastern University has set out to create the Institute for Neuro Immune Medicine.

Nova says it will be a place for research on Gulf War Syndrome, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other diseases that have defied the scientists at larger institutions, such as CDC.

Originally founded in December 2006 as an independent grassroots publication dedicated to coverage of health issues in Florida, Health News Florida was acquired by WUSF Public Media in September 2012.
