There were more than 200 calls to help lines in February about poisoning by liquid nicotine from e-cigarettes, according to a report from the Centers for Disease Control.
As the Broward-Palm Beach New Times reports, that’s a dramatic contrast from September 2010, when there was just one such call.
Efforts are under way in the Florida Legislature to regulate e-cig sales to minors, and the FDA is also working on regulations.
