Florida’s Department of Health held a hearing Tuesday for discussion of its proposed rules to tighten privacy of patient names in the state’s prescription drug database, News Service of Florida reports. As predicted, attorneys for the ACLU said the rules were not strict enough and law-enforcement officials said they went overboard and would make their job more difficult.
