Former Health Management Associates Chairman William Schoen is suing the chain and its new corporate owner for benefits it had promised, the Naples Daily Newsreports.
Tennessee-based Community Health Systems Inc. bought HMA in January. The lawsuit Schoen filed says HMA - and now Community Health - failed to honor the agreement and executive retirement plan which included millions of dollars and access to the company jet, the Daily News reports.
